A Closer Look: New Jumbleberry Fields Prizes

Jumbleberryfields1

Today we’re going to take a closer look at the new prizes added to Jumbleberry Fields in honor of the 2017 Berry Fest. There are a total of 7 new prizes you can earn by filling up your jars.

Jars-Filled

I’ve been saving up my berries for quite a while now, and I was lucky to have full jars to trade in for these new prizes. It can take a long time to fill your jars, especially with moonberries, so I think it’s good to see what these new prizes look like and how they function when you add them to your pet’s room.

jumbleberry

Let’s start with jumbleberries. The two new jumblerry prizes are the Farm House Shelf and the Bundle of Pickleberries.

farmhouse-shelf

The Farm House Shelf matches with the new “Farm House” theme that has been introduced into the Jumbleberry Fields prizes. (We’ve already seen the “Country Kitchen” theme, which included wallpaper, flooring, windows and even place settings.)

farm house shelf

I love all the details in the Farm House Shelf, like the red and white towel hanging on the bottom and the jars of preserves on the shelf. It’s a perfect addition to any kitchen, especially a jam making kitchen.

Here’s a look at the Bundle of Pickleberries lined up in a berry themed kitchen:

The Bundle of Pickleberries completes the set of berry bundles, as we’ve already had the jumbleberry, sugary berry and moonberry bundles to choose from and add to our rooms.

Next up we’ll check out the sugarberry prizes. The new sugarberry prizes are the Farm House Flooring and the Farm House Wallpaper. I love the wood and stone look of the Farm House Flooring and Wallpaper.

The Farm House Flooring and Wallpaper coordinate with chocolate colored wood, greyish brown wood and dark grey/brown stones in all different shapes and sizes.

As you can, the two match each other very nicely:

Now let’s take a look at the pickleberry prizes. We’ve got another addition to the “Farm House” theme with the Farm House Window, and there’s also the Berry Farm Stand.

farmhouse window

I’m going to want to collect a few of the Farm House Windows to complete my Farm House room. The Farm House Window has a nice view of a tall wheat field with green trees off in the distance:

The other pickleberry prize is the Berry Farm Stand.

berry farm stand

The Berry Farm Stand is a beautiful dark wood and features the Jumbleberry Fields logo:

The Berry Farm Stand matches really well with prizes like the Fresh Pie Stand and the Jumbleberry Fields Sign. I’ve used some of these prizes to create a berry farm complete with places to sit, fresh berries to buy and other fun activities fit for a day at the farm:

moonberry

Last up is the moonberry jar’s new prize, which is the Farm House Cabinet.

I’m sure you’ve caught onto the pattern by now. 🙂 The Farm House Cabinet is made out of the same grey toned wood to match with the other Farm House prizes. It’s actually a dresser that holds 12 clothing items:

So, if you put all the new prizes together, you get something like this:

Last weekend, Ganz gave out free codes for each different type of Webkinz berry in a “Find the Ad” promotion on Webkinz Newz. These free berries will help you complete the Jumbleberry Fields Trophy Challenge! I’ve collected all of the codes and posted them below. Be sure to hurry…community codes have an expiration date. 🙂

Jumbleberry Fields Trophy Challenge

The 2017 Webkinz Berry Fest kicked off yesterday, and one of the activities to enjoy is earning a Jumbleberry Fields Trophy. To win the trophy, you must feed your pet 12 jumbleberries, 8 pickleberries and 5 moonberries.

trophy challenge

There are a few different ways to get your hands on these berries. The first way, of course, is to play Jumbleberry Fields. Because moonberries are harder to win, you could consider buying some moonberry seed packets from the Ganz eStore.

Then there are the floaty clicky events. You’ll find different types of berries floating around Webkinz World all during Berry Fest (which lasts through June 28th). Also, be sure to stop by Webkinz Newz and find the floaty clicky berry there each day, too.

And remember to check the Daily Activities. There will be berry giveaways during Berry Fest, and you can earn more berries when you spin the Wheel of Yum.

Wheel-of-Yum-Curtain2

If you get down to the last minute and still don’t have all the berries you need, you can use eStore points to “skip” a task. (You can purchase eStore points online at the Ganz eStore.)

skip moonberries

I’ve earned the Jumbleberry Fields Trophy on my GABirdGirl account because I had enough berries saved up to fulfill the tasks. You see, all of my jars in Jumbleberry Fields are currently full, and I’ve been leaving them full so I could trade them in for the newest prizes.

Here’s the Jumbleberry Fields Trophy, front and back:

And here’s how the trophy will look on a pedestal in your trophy collection:

When you win the Jumbleberry Fields Trophy, you also win a Moonberry Gift Basket:

Drag the Moonberry Gift Basket into your pet’s room, and you’ll be awarded 5 moonberries:

A Closer Look: Trapdoor

Today I’m going to take a closer look at the last of the three new Exclusive Items that were recently added to the Wish Factory. We’ve already seen the Messy Room Floor Tile and the Salad Bar Fridge, so today we’re going to check out the Trapdoor.

trapdoor

The Trapdoor, like the other two new Exclusive Items, costs 15 tokens. It looks like a wooden door with a metal ring for a handle and a ladder inside leading down:

trapdoor 1

trapdoor 2

To me the Trapdoor has a farmhouse feel to it. I think it works well with wood flooring, and the ladder made me think of the Jumbleberry themed rooms you can make with prizes from Jumbleberry Fields.

Here’s the Trapdoor in one of my Jumbleberry rooms. This room, which is still a work in progress, is a kitchen for making jam. (If you like the Jumbleberry room items, you can fill your jars faster by purchasing berry seeds in the Ganz eStore!)

trapdoor room 2

The Trapdoor is interactive, but not in the way that you expect. Instead of providing storage for clothes or food, the Trapdoor “transports” you to a map of all your rooms. Take a look at what I mean:

ezgif.com-video-to-gif(29)

So what do you think of the Trapdoor? Do you like this interactive feature? Which of these new Exclusive Items is your favorite? Let me know in the comments for a prize via Kinzpost! One lucky commenter just might get an Exclusive Item!

And if you want to earn extra Wish Tokens, take a look at a Deluxe Membership for a daily spin on the Wheel of Wishes! From now until March 24th, Deluxe Memberships are 25% off and come with a free pet, the Sheltie Puppy!

The Great Trophy Chase: Jumbleberry Blast

splash-screen

One of the trophies I’m working hard to win during The Great Trophy Chase is Jumbleberry Blast. I haven’t gotten it yet, but in the process of working towards the trophy I’ve come up with a few tips for playing the game.

First, for an overview of the game, check out the post I did back when Jumbleberry Blast was first added to the Webkinz Arcade: New Webkinz Arcade Game: Jumbleberry Blast

You can also learn about the game from the post on Webkinz Newz announcing the release of Jumbleberry Blast: New Arcade Game

To see the game in action, watch my video of Jumbleberry Blast game play.

Jumbleberry Blast is currently only available to Deluxe members, but keep your eyes open because Jumbleberry Blast is available to everyone when it’s the “Game of the Day.” (Visit the Ganz eStore for more info on how to become a Deluxe member.)

There are 30 levels in Jumbleberry Blast. Each of these level requires you to do some combination of these four things:

  1. Earn a certain number of points
  2. Clear rot
  3. Drop jars
  4. Clear bugs

Some levels require you to achieve only one goal, like clearing 12 square of rot. Other levels combine obstacles, such as having you drop jars while clearing bugs. (My blog post and video dive deeper into how the game works.)

There are some things I know about Jumbleberry Blast now that I didn’t know when I did the first post about it. For example, I know now that the bugs are introduced in level 21. They look like flies, and you clear the flies by clearing the berries next to the flies.

The flies also make an appearance in Level 28:

level-28

Shiny berries:

The shiny berries are introduced in Level 4. Shiny berries are your best friend in clearing levels in Jumbleberry Blast and in getting a higher score.

Making a chain of seven or more berries will earn you a “shiny” berry. These special berries will clear a whole row, either vertically (up and down) or horizontally (side to side), depending on the direction of their “shine.”

You can get multiple shiny berries at once by making a chain of 14 or 21 (multiples of 7). Getting a chain of 21 is pretty rare, but getting one of 14 isn’t too difficult. Always go for the longest chain possible!

chain-of-berries

You can also use one shiny berry to trigger another shiny berry. Here’s a picture of what I mean – the yellow shiny berry with the horizontal shine (right side) is going to “trigger” the yellow shiny berry with the vertical shine (left side).

one-shiny-trigger-another-shiny

When you create this kind of chain reaction with the shiny berries, you are able to clear two rows with one move!

Bonus points:

Try to clear the level using as few moves as possible in order to earn bonus points. You will get 10 bonus points for each move that you have left. For instance, if you have 3 moves left at the end of the level, you’ll be awarded 30 bonus points.

Take your time:

Remember that the game isn’t timed, so go slowly and think through your options. You can take as much time as you need in order to figure out how to make the longest chain possible.

Those are all the tips I have for Jumbleberry Blast right now. Do you have any advice on winning the Jumbleberry Blast trophy? Let me know in the comments!

A Closer Look: Hanging Lantern

I’m still saving up my berries in Jumbleberry Fields to earn all of the new prizes that were released during Berry Fest. Last week I traded in my sugarberries for a Hanging Lantern:

 hanging lantern

The Hanging Lantern is basically a Barn Pillar with a lantern attached to one side, so it will fit in perfectly with your barn-themed room. Here are the two side-by-side:

As you can see from the picture above, the light on the Hanging Lantern actually lights up. Here are a couple more pictures to give you a better idea of what the Hanging Lantern will look like in your pet’s room:

Last, here’s a picture of the Hanging Lantern in my barn/jumbleberry room:

What do you think of the Hanging Lantern? Which sugarberry prize are you saving up for? If you just can’t wait to fill those jars, head over to the Ganz eStore and pick up some sugarberry seeds so you can grow sugarberries in your pet’s garden!

A Closer Look: Wood Step Ladder

Today I have another Jumbleberry Fields prize to show you – the Wood Step Ladder. The Wood Step Ladder is a prize you can get by trading in a jar of Jumbleberry Jam.

The Wood Step Ladder is interactive. Your pet can sit on the top:

Here’s a couple of different views of the Wood Step Ladder:

The Wood Step Ladder fits in well with the other country and barn themed items you can win in Jumbleberry Fields. I put mine in a room that’s still a work in progress. It has kind of a mixed theme of Jumbleberry jam making as well as a country kitchen:

Do you have the Wood Step Ladder yet? What kind of room would you put it in?

More Berry Fest Fun!

Today I am super excited to share this Jumbleberry Room sent to me by rainbowtwingirls. I love all of the colors, and the room feels so cheerful. The sugarplum cheeky monkey riding on the tractor is super cute. I love how rainbowtwingirls used the Forest Floor Tile to create an outdoor area, and the Kinzville Valley Home Wallpaper was a great choice! You’ve got a really nice collection of Jumbleberry prizes, rainbowtwingirls! 🙂

If you’d like to share a room design with me, you can email me a screenshot to natbrownnat (at) gmail (dot) com – I’d love to feature your rooms on my blog!

A Closer Look: Berry Fest Ticket Booth

The other day I posed about the new prizes available when you fill your jars in Jumbleberry Fields. I had a couple of full jars, so I claimed a Berry Fest Ticket Booth, and I wanted to share some pictures with you.

As you can see, the Berry Fest Ticket Booth is one of the new Pickleberry Relish prizes. Here are a couple of closeup pics to show you the details:
