Making a Goo-Goo Berry Float; Dory Porthole

Even though Berry Fest is over, I still wanted to try the secret recipe that was released a couple of weeks ago on Webkinz News – the Goo-Goo Berry Float.

The Goo-Goo Berry Float requires 3 ingredients:

You mix these three ingredients together in a blender and *poof* – you’ve got a Goo-Goo Berry Float.

The Goo-Goo Berry was floating around Webkinz World during Berry Fest, but the Juice Box and the Pie are retired items. So, I did some digging in my fridges until I found the other two ingredients. I like to store the special food items I collect rather than feed them to my pets. In this case, it came in handy to be a pack rat!

Both of my accounts are U.S., so I didn’t get to catch the Dory-themed floating cookies like my Canadian friends. But, I have an awesome, awesome Webkinz Friend who gifted me a complete set of Dory cookies, so I could make my very own Dory Porthole.

If you’re not familiar with this promo, it works a lot like the Bake Sale Recipes. You combine three cookies on a stove to create an entirely new item that can be used in your room.

In this case, it’s three super cute cookies featuring characters from Finding Dory:

Once you cook these ingredients, you’re awarded a Dory Porthole, and Dory herself even swims by from time to time:

Summer Fun Has Started!

Summer Sensation was June 28th, and it kicked off some summer fun in Webkinz World!

This latest round of updates saw new prizes added to the Wheel of Wow. As you can see, most of the prizes are some type of “terrain,” like snow or grass. I think these pieces will be awesome for creating outdoor spaces within an indoor room:

Today I won the Dessert Terrain, which looks pretty cool in this outdoor room, but I wish the tile piece was bigger – I guess I’ll just have to hope I can win some more!

I’m also really excited about the new prizes on the Wheel of Deluxe, which include some cute sailor clothing pieces:

I won the Sailor Suit Top this morning, and I think it looks adorable on my black cat Licorice – I hope I win some more so I can share some with all of you!

A Closer Look: Wood Step Ladder

A Closer Look: Frozen Yogurt Stand Fridge

With all the berries floating around Webkinz World for Berry Fest, I’ve been able to fill up my jars and earn lots of those new Jumbleberry Fields prizes! So far I’ve gotten the Berry Crate Fridge and the Berry Fest Ticket Booth.

I recently filled up my jar of Pickleberry Relish and traded it in for a Frozen Yogurt Stand Fridge. I love the Frozen Yogurt Stand Fridge because it’s the perfect addition to a Berry Festival room.

Another great thing about the Frozen Yogurt Stand Fridge is – like the name tells you – that it’s also a refrigerator. I don’t know about you, but I can always use extra food storage! The Frozen Yogurt Stand Fridge holds 12 food items!

Today I am super excited to share this Jumbleberry Room sent to me by rainbowtwingirls. I love all of the colors, and the room feels so cheerful. The sugarplum cheeky monkey riding on the tractor is super cute. I love how rainbowtwingirls used the Forest Floor Tile to create an outdoor area, and the Kinzville Valley Home Wallpaper was a great choice! Ganz Odd Holidays: National Donut Day

The first Friday in June is National Donut Day, and the Ganz eStore celebrated this yummy occasion with an Odd Holidays sale on Webkinz donut related items…including an adorable Sprinkles Donut outfit:

But here’s the catch…you can only get the Sprinkles Donut outfit pieces inside the 2013 Fall Mystery Clothing Bags…and even then it’s completely random – you might not get any pieces from the Sprinkles Donut set.

I decided it was worth a gamble, and besides, I LOVE to collect rare clothing! 🙂 I was also excited about the chance to win clothing pieces that were only available back in 2013.
