Hello Webkinz friends! I hope you’ve been enjoying your summer! 🙂 I definitely have! One of the things I like best about the change of seasons in Webkinz world is the arrival of new mystery clothing bags.

The 2017 Summer Mystery Clothing Bags arrived at the Ganz eStore earlier this month. I had some eStore points saved up from my Deluxe membership, so I was able to buy several bags, and I got lots of really cute and fun new clothes for my pets…and some great items for trading!

I always like to make videos when I open up bags or boxes, and this time was no exception. 🙂 I hope you enjoy the video! Let me know in the comments which pieces of clothing you like best!

If you like the clothes I got from my 2017 Summer Mystery Clothing Bags, head over to the Ganz eStore and check out the different price options for eStore points. (There are lots of other fun items on sale to celebrate summer!)

Mother’s Day Gift Bags

You know that I LOVE mystery clothing bags, so you won’t be surprised to hear that I went a little nuts and bought 10 of the Mother’s Day Gift Bags that are currently available at the Ganz eStore!

2017 Spring Mystery Clothing Bags

I’m sure you can guess that I was *very* excited about the arrival of the 2017 Spring Mystery Clothing Bags at the Ganz eStore. I started out by buying four mystery clothing bags, and then I just kept buying and buying! 🙂

It’s been a while since I’ve made a video, so I decided to do one where I open/unbox all of the 2017 Spring Mystery Clothing Bags I purchased. There are so many that I had to do the video in fast motion.

If you like the clothes I won in my 2017 Spring Mystery Clothing Bags, then head over to the Ganz eStore and pick some up…they won’t be around forever! And don’t forget that Deluxe members get a discounted price!

I hope you enjoy the video!

The Great Trophy Chase: Jumbleberry Blast

splash-screen

One of the trophies I’m working hard to win during The Great Trophy Chase is Jumbleberry Blast. I haven’t gotten it yet, but in the process of working towards the trophy I’ve come up with a few tips for playing the game.

First, for an overview of the game, check out the post I did back when Jumbleberry Blast was first added to the Webkinz Arcade: New Webkinz Arcade Game: Jumbleberry Blast

You can also learn about the game from the post on Webkinz Newz announcing the release of Jumbleberry Blast: New Arcade Game

To see the game in action, watch my video of Jumbleberry Blast game play.

Jumbleberry Blast is currently only available to Deluxe members, but keep your eyes open because Jumbleberry Blast is available to everyone when it’s the “Game of the Day.” (Visit the Ganz eStore for more info on how to become a Deluxe member.)

There are 30 levels in Jumbleberry Blast. Each of these level requires you to do some combination of these four things:

  1. Earn a certain number of points
  2. Clear rot
  3. Drop jars
  4. Clear bugs

Some levels require you to achieve only one goal, like clearing 12 square of rot. Other levels combine obstacles, such as having you drop jars while clearing bugs. (My blog post and video dive deeper into how the game works.)

There are some things I know about Jumbleberry Blast now that I didn’t know when I did the first post about it. For example, I know now that the bugs are introduced in level 21. They look like flies, and you clear the flies by clearing the berries next to the flies.

The flies also make an appearance in Level 28:

level-28

Shiny berries:

The shiny berries are introduced in Level 4. Shiny berries are your best friend in clearing levels in Jumbleberry Blast and in getting a higher score.

Making a chain of seven or more berries will earn you a “shiny” berry. These special berries will clear a whole row, either vertically (up and down) or horizontally (side to side), depending on the direction of their “shine.”

You can get multiple shiny berries at once by making a chain of 14 or 21 (multiples of 7). Getting a chain of 21 is pretty rare, but getting one of 14 isn’t too difficult. Always go for the longest chain possible!

chain-of-berries

You can also use one shiny berry to trigger another shiny berry. Here’s a picture of what I mean – the yellow shiny berry with the horizontal shine (right side) is going to “trigger” the yellow shiny berry with the vertical shine (left side).

one-shiny-trigger-another-shiny

When you create this kind of chain reaction with the shiny berries, you are able to clear two rows with one move!

Bonus points:

Try to clear the level using as few moves as possible in order to earn bonus points. You will get 10 bonus points for each move that you have left. For instance, if you have 3 moves left at the end of the level, you’ll be awarded 30 bonus points.

Take your time:

Remember that the game isn’t timed, so go slowly and think through your options. You can take as much time as you need in order to figure out how to make the longest chain possible.

Those are all the tips I have for Jumbleberry Blast right now. Do you have any advice on winning the Jumbleberry Blast trophy? Let me know in the comments!

Adopting a Lovely Fox

Hello Webkinz friends! I’ve been gone for a few days taking care of my real world job, but I’m back now, and I’ve got a fun adoption video for you – a Lovely Fox!

lovely-fox

The Lovely Fox is special this month because Lovely Fox owners get special activities every day during the month of February. It’s similar to the bonus activities that reindeer owners got during December’s Reindeer Games.

I named my Lovely Fox “Kiwi,” just because I think it’s a cute and fun name.

This video will give you a closer look at the Lovely Fox – both the plush and the virtual version.

Do you want a Lovely Fox? You can find one in the Ganz eStore or buy yours on Amazon.

Don’t forget about another “lovely” pet – the Lovely Love Kitten, which is February’s Pet of the Month. You can find the Lovely Love Kitten in the Ganz eStore or on Amazon.

Adopting a Lovely Love Kitten: February’s Pet of the Month

As you probably know, February’s Pet of the Month (POTM) is the Lovely Love Kitten. I usually end up just getting the virtual version of the POTM, but this month I decided to buy the plush Lovely Love Kitten because I think this kitty is so, so cute!

Since I have the plush, I decided to do my adoption video a little differently this time. Before we head to Webkinz World and the Adoption Center, I first take a look at the Lovely Love Kitten plush and all the great details that make this kitten oh so lovely!

happy

Remember, because the Lovely Love Kitten is February’s Pet of the Month, you get a loot bag with extra prizes. (We’ll take a look at the extra POTM prizes and gifts in the video.)

I hope you enjoy my video! If you want your own Lovely Love Kitten, you can head to Amazon for the plush or the Ganz eStore for the virtual version! If you really love having the POTM, you can join the eStore’s Pet of the Month club and have a plush delivered to you each month!

Thoughts from the Treetop: January 11, 2017

I had a few random thoughts and bits and pieces of news to share, so I thought I’d do another “Thoughts from the Treetop” post.

tree-top

First I wanted to share something pretty cool I got when I was entering feature codes from my Series 2 Webkinz Trading Cards. It’s an Ancient Vista Window.

ancient-vista-window

If you can’t read the text on the picture above, it says “It’s a preview of our rare Ancient Civilization room theme. ” So that means these Series 2 Trading Cards were released BEFORE the Ancient Civilization Theme was ever in the Curio Shop. I thought that was pretty cool.

Here’s what the Ancient Vista Window looks like in my Ancient Civilization room (excuse the mess – it’s a work in progress!)

ancient-civilization-windowancient-civilization

I’ve never seen an “Ancient Vista Window” before anywhere – not even in the Trading Room. Just when I think I’ve unlocked all the prizes that Series 2 has to offer, something comes along to surprise me!

Next up, a super cute ice skating dress in the Ganz eStore. If you’re like me, and you love to dress up your Webkinz pets, then you’ve probably been keeping up with the winter and holiday clothing items in the Ganz eStore. I love the Sparkling Skating Dress because it looks so adorable when you pair it with the girl’s figure skates from the 2017 Winterfest prize pool.

This is my Webkinz Pom Pom Kitty named Glitter. Glitter is one of the first Webkinz I ever got. It’s been so long that I don’t even remember where she came from, but even after all these years, I think Glitter is one of the cutest of all my Webkinz pets. These plushes are actually still available on Amazon – and for a great price! You can buy a Pom Pom Kitty plush for less than $7!

Moving on to our next subject…I’ve been making a whole lot of progress trading gems with Doug in the Clubhouse. I have a blog post about Doug that I’ve been working on, and I’ll publish it soon, but I did want to share my exciting news that I’ve won two of the Gem Collector trophies so far!

In fact, my collection of gem swapping prizes is really growing in both of my accounts:

Do you trade gems with Doug the Dog? Have you made a lot of progress? Tell me in the comments for a special Doug the Dog food item via Kinzpost!

Last but not least, I was really, really stoked to learn that WKN featured my Winterfest Cookies video! 🙂 I created a few more new videos in the past week or two, so check them out if you get a chance! 🙂

Webkinz Coloring and Activity Book

I got the new Webkinz Coloring & Activity Book for Christmas – hey, grownups like to color, too! 🙂

webkinz-coloring-1

I definitely give it a thumbs up so far. The drawings are easy to color, lots of big spaces and bold lines. You’ll recognize lots of your favorite Webkinz pets and Webkinz World characters featured throughout the book.

img_1559img_1560

There are also a few activities in the book, such as a word find puzzle and a “learn to draw” tutorial. It’s definitely a great gift for kids, and like I said, grownups will enjoy it, too!

I wanted to make a video to feature the Webkinz Coloring & Activity Book, but I was having trouble coming up with an idea. Then it hit me! A time lapse coloring video!

I hope you enjoy watching my time lapse coloring – I had fun making it!

If you want your own Webkinz Coloring & Activity Book, you can find them on Amazon!

(I think the Webkinz Coloring & Activity Book is currently sold out – keep checking back! In the meantime, you can enjoy these free coloring and activity pages from WKN.)

Adopting a Webkinz Holly Fox

A few weeks ago I bought the Holly Fox from the Ganz eStore. I love all of the Christmas-themed pets available right now, like the Mistletoe Mouse and the Gingerbread Puppy. As cute as all of the holiday pets are, the Holly Fox is my favorite.

holly-fox

My Holly Fox is a girl, and I decided to name her Noel to keep with the Christmas theme. Her red and white stripes make me think of candy canes, and I love the holly leaves on her back.

Here’s a quick video I made while I was adopting Noel. Hope you like it!
