Jumbleberry Fields Trophy Challenge

The 2017 Webkinz Berry Fest kicked off yesterday, and one of the activities to enjoy is earning a Jumbleberry Fields Trophy. To win the trophy, you must feed your pet 12 jumbleberries, 8 pickleberries and 5 moonberries.

trophy challenge

There are a few different ways to get your hands on these berries. The first way, of course, is to play Jumbleberry Fields. Because moonberries are harder to win, you could consider buying some moonberry seed packets from the Ganz eStore.

Then there are the floaty clicky events. You’ll find different types of berries floating around Webkinz World all during Berry Fest (which lasts through June 28th). Also, be sure to stop by Webkinz Newz and find the floaty clicky berry there each day, too.

And remember to check the Daily Activities. There will be berry giveaways during Berry Fest, and you can earn more berries when you spin the Wheel of Yum.

Wheel-of-Yum-Curtain2

If you get down to the last minute and still don’t have all the berries you need, you can use eStore points to “skip” a task. (You can purchase eStore points online at the Ganz eStore.)

I’ve earned the Jumbleberry Fields Trophy on my GABirdGirl account because I had enough berries saved up to fulfill the tasks. You see, all of my jars in Jumbleberry Fields are currently full, and I’ve been leaving them full so I could trade them in for the newest prizes.

Here’s the Jumbleberry Fields Trophy, front and back:

And here’s how the trophy will look on a pedestal in your trophy collection:

When you win the Jumbleberry Fields Trophy, you also win a Moonberry Gift Basket:

Drag the Moonberry Gift Basket into your pet’s room, and you’ll be awarded 5 moonberries:

Webkinz Berry Fest 2017 Prizes

Berry Fest 2017 kicked off today, and I’m already having “berry much” fun! 🙂 I’m loving this year’s Berry Fest prizes, and it’s great that floaty clicky prizes are back in the rooms and arcade. It makes it sooo much easier to collect all of the day’ prizes.

If you’ve been on Webkinz today, or remember Berry Fest activities from the past, then you know that there are 6 kinds of berries you’ll find floating around Webkinz World:

Berry-Festival-Berries

But…the REAL stars of the show are the Goo Goo Berry and the Polarberry. Why? Because feeding one of these types of berries to your pet will earn you a special prize.

There are two different sets of prizes, but they’re basically the same – just swap out one berry type for the other.

Here’s a picture of the Goo Goo Berry prizes from Webkinz Newz:

Goo-Goo-Berry-Prizes

And here’s a look at this year’s Polarberry prizes:

Polarberry-Prizes

As you can see, the prizes are divided into three categories: common, uncommon and rare, which means that you’ll win more of the ice cream cone than you will the car.

I’ve had great luck so far this morning, and I’ve got 3 Goo Goo Berry Cars total. The only prize I don’t have yet is the Polarberry Car.

If you’re wondering how I could have already won so many prizes, it’s because I’ve saved up my Goo Goo Berries and Polarberries from previous years. I like to keep my “special” foods and store them in rooms filled with refrigerators, like this:

fridge food room

This morning I went searching through my refrigerators and found plenty of both kinds of berries stored away:

dock and berries

Let’s take a look at some of the prizes you can win when you feed your pet a Goo Goo Berry or Polarberry during Berry Fest!

First are the preserves…these are fun because you can rotate them and get four different looks:

Here are the 4 ways you can display the Polarberry Preserves:

And here are the 4 ways to display the Goo Goo Berry Preserves:

Next is the chairs, which have a cute country/farmhouse look to them:

You can see that these wooden chairs are adorned with a cushion, and the cushion is decorated with either Goo Goo Berries or Polarberries.

Last up is the Goo Goo Berry Car (I’ll update my post when I finally get a Polarberry car). Take a look at this gif to see what the Goo Goo Berry Car looks like when your pet rides inside (notice the window on the back!):

Food Dispensers for 1800 eStore Points!

If you pay close attention while you’re playing Webkinz, then you’ll often see some special food floating across your screen. For instance, there have been Marshmallow Bunnies, Rainbow Lollies and even a Gumdrop Clover. These floating foods are actually promos for food dispensers available at the Ganz eStore.

So what is a food dispenser? Food dispensers are virtual items that provide one consumable food item per day when clicked on. For example, I have a Theater Chocolate Dispenser in my theater room, and I click on it each day to get a Theater Chocolate Pop to feed my pets.

Food dispensers are especially fun if you like to collect food or trade for unusual food items in the Trading Room in the Clubhouse. Some of the most fun and unique foods come from food dispensers…so why don’t I have more in my rooms?

Well, most food dispensers cost around 6,000 eStore points, and I usually spend my eStore points on clothing items and mystery bags. But, if you really dig through those Black Friday Sales at the Ganz eStore, you’ll find several food dispensers on sale for 70% off! That makes each food dispenser only 1800 points each!

I found four food dispensers in the 70% off section and purchased one of each of them:

  1. Party Punch Dispenser
  2. Webkinz Icepresso Machine
  3. Pink Popcorn Machine
  4. Milkshake Machine

Let’s take a look at the foods these items dispense and how they will look in your pet’s room.

First up is the Party Punch Dispenser.

party-punch

The Party Punch Dispenser looks like a ghost ship, so I put it in this Halloween party room:

party-punch-2

When you click on the Party Punch Dispenser you get a glass of Party Punch:

Next is the Webkinz Icepresso Machine:

icespresso

I think the Icepresso Machine is a perfect fit for a cafe or coffee shop themed room:

The Webkinz Icepresso Machine dispenses one Ice Frothy each day.

Now let’s take a closer look at the Pink Popcorn Machine:

pink-popcorn

To me the Pink Popcorn Machine seems like the perfect match for a slumber party, so I placed it in this movie/birthday/slumber party room I’ve been working on:

pink-pop

When you click on the Pink Popcorn Machine, you get a bowl of popcorn.

Last up is the Milkshake Machine:

I liked the idea of putting the Milkshake Machine in a diner themed room.

You can click on the Milkshake Machine each day to receive one 50’s Diner Milkshake.

Thoughts from the Treetop: October 5th

tree-top

Sometimes I have a few small things I want to blog about, but none of them are enough to make up a whole post itself. Instead of “random posts,” I thought I’d start calling these “Thoughts from the Treetop.” 🙂

First, be sure you’re visiting Sophie in the Clubhouse – it’s a Wiz Kinz themed room, and you can click on Sophie to get one of these really pretty Emerald Jawbreaker candies.(It comes from the Wiz Kinz Jawbreaker Dispenser!) I love going to see Sophie and collecting all the different special foods she gives away!

Next, keep your eyes open for floating coins! The floating coins from a few months ago are back again, and so far each coin I’ve clicked is a gold coin – making it worth 250 kinzcash!

Here’s a bit of fun news for me – I hit the highest score of the day (I’m sure it didn’t last long!) on Get Eleven Solitaire recently. Doesn’t Posh Posh (my Blue Avenue Pomeranian) look proud? 🙂

That’s all of my random thoughts for today! As always, thanks for visiting Crazy 4 Webkinz!

Floaty Clicky: Rainbow Lolly

Fun and colorful lollipops have been floating around Webkinz World for the past few days. Have you seen them yet?

If you see one, be sure to click on it to get a free Rainbow Lolly for your pet!

Floating Bake Sale Items: Everywhere!

The Bake Sale has been underway since June 1st, and I’ve discovered a couple of things that might be helpful – but maybe you’ve already discovered them, too!

According to the official Bake Sale directions and description, the best place to find the floating Bake Sale items is in the Clubhouse or the Kinzville Park. Well, I’ve discovered that these floating treats are popping all over the place!

If you’re a deluxe member, keep an eye out when you visit Vacation Island because I found one floating treat on the main page and another while spinning the Vacation Wheel:

vacation wheel bake sale

Another surprising place I found floating Bake Sale item was at the Wish Factory when I was making my “Wish of the Day.”

You already know that you can spin the Wheel of Yum once a day to win Bake Sale items, but have you seen any Bake Sale items floating by before you spin? I’ve had them floating across the screen there a couple of times – and what’s extra cool is that two items came back-to-back…I clicked on one, and then another one came floating across!

One more place I’ve seen a floating Bake Sale item was when I was in the code shop:

bake sale in code shop

And even though Webkinz has said that the Bake Sale items won’t show up in the Arcade, I’ve had at least one float by while I was at the main screen before I picked a game:

bake sale in arcade

Last but not least, I’ve even seen a floating Bake Sale item when I was hunting for gems in the Curio Shop.

And don’t forget to pay close attention to the Daily Activities. You might just find a free Baked Sale item giveaway scheduled there:

bake sale in todays activities

So, you definitely want to be on the lookout for floating Bake Sale items just about anywhere you go on Webkinz – not just the Clubhouse or Kinzville Park.Like this morning, for instance, I’ve already found 4 floating Bake Sale items, and none of them came from the Park or Clubhouse.

For me this is great news because I get a little bored just sitting in the Clubhouse or Park waiting for some food to float by. 🙂

Have you found floating Bake Sale items in any unexpected places?

P.S. Don’t forget to visit Webkinz Newz each day to receive a free Bake Sale item (floaty clicky)!

As always, thanks for stopping by!

I also just wanted to take a quick minute to share my excitement – my Valentine’s Day Room was featured in the most recent Webkinz Room Designs video! I was really surprised to see this room pop up in the video because I sent in the pic waaaayyyy back before Valentine’s Day in early February.

Here’s a pic of the room:

And here’s the video:

Thanks for stopping by my blog! 🙂 Have a great day!

Tips for Flower Collection Success

The Flower Collection Challenge officially kicked off on May 1st. To complete the collection and win all 5 prizes, you need to collect a total of 50 flowers. The prizes are all different pieces of playground equipment:

flower collection prizes

One of my favorite part of these collection challenges is that you can complete the collection more than once! That means you can win each prize two or even three times if you have a flower collecting strategy.

more than once

Follow these tips to complete your collection faster!

flower collection

There are 4 ways to get flowers:

1. Each day, pull up the Kinzville and click on the Flower Collection icon to automatically be awarded two flowers.

So that’s my first tip – logging on every day! It may seem simple, but just clicking on the icon will get you 62 total flowers!

two free flowers

2. Make sure you visit Webkinz Newz to find the “floaty clicky” flower. Click on the floating flower and one flower will automatically be added to your collection. You can do this once per account per day. That’s 31 flowers!

flower floaty clicky

3. Purchase flowers using Ganz eStore points. Each flower costs 500 eStore points. Personally, I would only use eStore points if it was the very last day of collecting flowers, and I was one or two flowers away from the next prize.

buy flowers from estore

4. Ask 10 friends for flowers each day. Now here is where you really need a strategy. You don’t want to just go down your friends list and click on random names. You want to select 10 friends that play daily and quickly respond to requests.

So how do you find out who those friends are? Try this little trick for cleaning up your friends list:

First, go to the WShop and purchase one of the cheapest building kits. That will either be the Ivy Brick Wall or the Wacky Clay Sculpture, which cost 100 kinzcash each.

Drag the building kit into one of your rooms and start asking for supplies. Then, grab a pen and a piece of paper and wait for the responses to come rolling in. Which of your Webkinz friends responded the quickest? Write down their names and use that list when asking for flowers!

friends list

If you’re like me, you’ve got a couple of hundred friends, but only a few dozen of them are really active. For just 100 kinzcash, you can quickly and easily find out who your active friends are!

Of course, you want to thank your best Webkinz friends by sending them a gift or a note from time to time. Always make sure your friends know that you appreciate their help!

Do you have any tips for completing your flower collection more than once? Let me know in the comments!

Random Updates: Floaty Clicky, Eager Beaver Badge and new Token Balloon Darts prize

Hello, my fellow Webkinz fans! I’ve had a few random updates I’ve been wanting to share, but none of them really seemed like the makings of an entire blog post. So, I decided to combine them all into one!

First, as you’ve probably noticed, there’s a new Floaty Clicky happening. Like the Marshmallow Bunnies, the Pink Chocolate Egg is a promo for a Ganz eStore item, the “Chocolate Egg Evergreen.”

floating pink egg 2

Combine these random eStore promos and the coins I posted about the other day, and there’s a lot of floating and clicking go on in Webkinz World right now!

Next up, the new Eager Beaver badge I recently earned:

eager beaver badge

I didn’t even know that the “Skillfully Built” Badge existed, so this was a fun surprise! I was awarded the badge for the making word “squeezed” during a game of Eager Beaver:

eager beaver 2

I’ve been doing some reading and researching, and the general consensus seems to be that you earn the Skillfully Built Badge for a word that’s worth 1100 points or more. Have you won this badge yet? Do you play Eager Beaver?

Last but not least, I was excited about the new prize I got while playing Token Balloon Darts, the “Spring Has Sprung Chair”:

I’ve never come across this particular room item before – have you ever seen the Spring Has Sprung Chair? I was wondering if it was from a spring celebration prize pool from a few years ago or something like that.

It’s a cute chair, and I think it will go well in a couple of different rooms I’ve been working on, so maybe I’ll win more! Have you won any of these chairs lately?

That’s all from me for now – what’s been happening lately in Webkinz World for you?

— TreeHuggerJess 🙂

Floating Coin: New Webkinz Floaty Clicky

I noticed a new Webkinz Floaty Clicky this morning as I was playing: a floating gold coin that looks like this:

floating coin

When you click on the coin, this message pops up:

floating coin 2

BUT – there’s something you need to do first! You need to locate the stack of coins (called a “Coin Gift Box”) in your dock and then drag and drop it into your pets room to “release” the coin that can actually be sold to the W Shop:

floating coin 9

floating coin 7

Now that the coin and not the Gift Box is in your dock, you can sell it to the W Shop, and you’ll receive the value of the coin back in kinzcash:

floating coin 10

One thing you might have noticed from the picture of my dock is that the Coin Gift Boxes have different values. So far I’ve received a “bronze” box (worth 50 kinzcash) and a “gold” box (worth 250 kinzcash). I haven’t received any “silver” boxes yet.

Also, you can collect at least 5 coins per day because that’s how many I’ve collected so far on just one account. But the max might be more than that – we’ll just have to figure it out together!

So what do you think of this new Floaty Clicky? Have you found any floating coins?
