New Game: Zingoz Zangoz

10

Hello my fellow Webkinz fans! I’m sure you’ve seen by now that a new game was recently added to the Arcade. The name of that game is “Zingoz Zangoz,” and it debuted on February 14th.

game logo

As  you can guess from the name, this new Webkinz Arcade game features two fan favorite characters: Zingoz and Zangoz…and it also stars Wacky!

Zingoz-Zangoz

Currently Zingoz Zangoz is only available for Deluxe Members, but the good news is that it will be available to everyone on any day that it’s featured as the “Game of the Day.”

Zingoz Zangoz is very straightforward in terms of instructions and overall game play:

ezgif.com-video-to-gif(21)

Fruit falls from the left side of the screen. Your goal is to “catch” the falling fruit with the trampoline so that it can bounce over to the right. On the right side of the screen is a meter that tells you how many fruits you need to catch/bounce:

ezgif.com-crop(2)

There is also a timer. To keep moving forward in the game you must catch enough fruit before the timer runs out. If the time runs out and you haven’t hit your goal, then the game ends.

Even though the game sounds pretty simple, Zingoz Zangoz can definitely get very crazy and hectic as the levels progress.

Over time, new fruits are added. Each fruit “behaves” in a different way. For example, the watermelon must bounce twice before it launches to the right. The pineapple, by contrast, hovers up in the air and then drops straight down:

ezgif.com-crop(4)

Also, each fruit has a different point value. You want to score as many points as possible because the first time you reach 300,000 points you win a trophy! 🙂 (More on the trophy later.)

Another thing that makes Zingoz Zangoz tricky is Wacky. From time to time, a Wacky (or two or three) will fall from the sky. Your goal is to avoid Wacky and let him hit the ground. Sounds a little crazy, right? But that’s how it works:

ezgif.com-crop(9)

If you “catch” Wacky he will break your trampoline and the game will be over:

 ezgif.com-crop(1)

The good news is that you get a warning that a Wacky is about to fall. Check out the gif above…see the red flashing exclamation point? It appears a few seconds before Wacky falls, and it also indicates where Wacky is going to fall. (When you’re playing the game, the flashing exclamation point is accompanied by a buzzing sound.)

As the game progresses, the Wackies start to fall more frequently, and groups of up to 4 Wackies will appear at a time:

ezgif.com-crop(5)

So, you can see that there’s a lot going on when you play Zingoz Zangoz…but there’s still more to talk about!

Notice on the top right side of the screen, near the meter, is a count of how many fruits you’ve caught in a row:

zingoz zangoz numbers

If you can catch 60 fruits in a row without letting any hit the ground, a special event called a “Starfall” happens:

ezgif.com-crop(7)

Stars rain down from the sky, and when you catch them you earn lots and lots of points!

Another bonus to know about is the Shield. Shields fall from the sky. They’re blue and shaped just like a shield:

ezgif.com-crop(6)

You can tell if you have the Shield in place because you will see a white shield symbol over your trampoline, like this:

shield

The Shield is a layer of protection. If a Wacky falls on  your trampoline while you have the Shield in place, then your trampoline won’t break and your game play will continue. However, the Shield is only good for one hit. After it’s hit, it will disappear, and you have to wait for another Shield to fall from the sky.

As I mentioned above, you earn a trophy the first time you reach 300,000 points:

zingoz zangoz trophy

As you can see, the trophy looks just like the game:

Zingoz-Zangoz-Trophy

Here’s a look at the Zingoz Zangoz trophy in my trophy room:

If you’re not Deluxe but you can’t wait to play Zingoz Zangoz, you do have one other option. If you play Webkinz Mobile on your phone or tablet, you can use eStore points to unlock Zingoz Zangoz. Note, though, that the game will only be accessible through the Webkinz Mobile app, not on the website.

So what do you think of Zingoz Zangoz? Have you tried playing this new Webkinz Arcade game yet? Let me know in the comments!

2018 Winter Clothing Line: Part 1

The first part of the 2018 Winter Clothing Line has arrived at the KinzStyle outlet, so let’s check out what Pollie Jean Colly has to offer us this season!

in the kinstyle outlet

Altogether, there are six items in the first half of the 2018 Winter Clothing Line:

  1. Fuzzy Purple Sweater: 425 kinzcash
  2. Homespun Sweater: 475 kinzcash
  3. Pink Pouffy Coat: 550 kinzcash (deluxe only)
  4. Quilted Snow Jacket: 455 kinzcash (deluxe only)
  5. Quilted Snow Pants: 365 kinzcash
  6. Silver Sneakers 375 kinzcash

If you want to buy all six items – and you don’t have any WShop coupons – it will cost you a grand total of 2645 kinzcash.

I decided to try something a little different this time around. All of the outfits I’ve put together are made up entirely of items that you can purchase in the Kinzstyle Oulet – there aren’t any items from the eStore or items that cost eStore points.

2018 kinzstyle winter clothing line

Let’s take a closer look at each of these fabulous new clothing items:

First up is the Fuzzy Purple Sweater:

fuzzy purple sweater

Purple is one of my favorite colors, so I really like this sweater. It looks so cuddly and snuggly, too!

I paired the Fuzzy Purple Sweater with Distressed Stretchy Jeans and Slouch Boots.

Here’s a look at Audrey, my Blue Persian Kitten, showing off the Fuzzy Purple Sweater as she heads down the runway in my Fashion Show Room:

ezgif.com-video-to-gif(14)

Next let’s check out the Homespun Sweater. I have to admit, I wasn’t sure if I would really like the Homespun Sweater, but that changed when I saw how the sweater actually looks on your pet:

Homespun Sweater

The Homespun Sweater looks very cozy, and I like the way it blends so nicely with earth tones. Lots of Webkinz clothes match best with black, so I like seeing a new item that goes well with brown.

Digger, my Prairie Dog, is wearing the Homespun Sweater with Soft Suede Boots, Eyeglasses and Cool Baggy Brown Jeans.

This is Digger strutting his stuff in his stylish new sweater:

ezgif.com-video-to-gif(15)

The Pink Pouffy Coat is my second favorite piece in the 2018 Winter Clothing Line. I absolutely love pink! This hot pink color is really bold – it’s definitely the kind of clothing item that makes a statement.

pink pouffy coat

I put the Pink Pouffy Coat on Dali, my Panda Cub. (The Panda Cub was a free pet I got with my one year Deluxe membership a couple of years ago.) Dali is also wearing Black Cowboy Boots and a Pink Bow.

Here’s how the Pink Pouffy Coat looks on a pet:

ezgif.com-video-to-gif(12)

I combined the Quilted Snow Jacket and Quilted Snow Pants into one outfit:

quilted jacket and snow pants

This outfit is being modeled by Shimmer, the Magical Retriever I won from a pack of Webkinz Trading Cards. To give Shimmer’s outfit some serious attitude, I paired it with a Dude Hat and Red Skate Shoes.

Here’s Shimmer showing off her quilted clothes on the runway:

ezgif.com-video-to-gif(13)

Last up are the Silver Sneakers. The Silver Sneakers are fun and flashy, but they’ll also match with lots of different outfits. I especially like clothing items that you can mix and match. 🙂

Here is Kensington, my Pretty Kitty, wearing the Silver Sneakers:

Silver Sneakers

Along with the Silver Sneakers, Kensington has on Cuffed Jeans and a Striped Polo.

Check out the Silver Sneakers on Kensington while she shows off this cute outfit:

So what is your favorite item from the first half of the 2018 Winter Clothing Line? Let me know, and I just might send you your favorite item via Kinzpost! 🙂 (Make sure I know your Webkinz name!)

A Closer Look: New Jumbleberry Fields Prizes

Jumbleberryfields1

Today we’re going to take a closer look at the new prizes added to Jumbleberry Fields in honor of the 2017 Berry Fest. There are a total of 7 new prizes you can earn by filling up your jars.

Jars-Filled

I’ve been saving up my berries for quite a while now, and I was lucky to have full jars to trade in for these new prizes. It can take a long time to fill your jars, especially with moonberries, so I think it’s good to see what these new prizes look like and how they function when you add them to your pet’s room.

swirl_110_orig

jumbleberry

Let’s start with jumbleberries. The two new jumblerry prizes are the Farm House Shelf and the Bundle of Pickleberries.

farmhouse-shelf

The Farm House Shelf matches with the new “Farm House” theme that has been introduced into the Jumbleberry Fields prizes. (We’ve already seen the “Country Kitchen” theme, which included wallpaper, flooring, windows and even place settings.)

farm house shelf

I love all the details in the Farm House Shelf, like the red and white towel hanging on the bottom and the jars of preserves on the shelf. It’s a perfect addition to any kitchen, especially a jam making kitchen.

bundle of pickleberries

Here’s a look at the Bundle of Pickleberries lined up in a berry themed kitchen:

bundle of pickleberries 2

The Bundle of Pickleberries completes the set of berry bundles, as we’ve already had the jumbleberry, sugary berry and moonberry bundles to choose from and add to our rooms.

120px-Sugarberry

Next up we’ll check out the sugarberry prizes. The new sugarberry prizes are the Farm House Flooring and the Farm House Wallpaper. I love the wood and stone look of the Farm House Flooring and Wallpaper.

farmhouse wallpaper

The Farm House Flooring and Wallpaper coordinate with chocolate colored wood, greyish brown wood and dark grey/brown stones in all different shapes and sizes.

farmhouse flooring

As you can, the two match each other very nicely:

pickleberry

Now let’s take a look at the pickleberry prizes. We’ve got another addition to the “Farm House” theme with the Farm House Window, and there’s also the Berry Farm Stand.

farmhouse window

I’m going to want to collect a few of the Farm House Windows to complete my Farm House room. The Farm House Window has a nice view of a tall wheat field with green trees off in the distance:

farm house window

The other pickleberry prize is the Berry Farm Stand.

berry farm stand

The Berry Farm Stand is a beautiful dark wood and features the Jumbleberry Fields logo:

berry farm stand front

The Berry Farm Stand matches really well with prizes like the Fresh Pie Stand and the Jumbleberry Fields Sign. I’ve used some of these prizes to create a berry farm complete with places to sit, fresh berries to buy and other fun activities fit for a day at the farm:

jumbleberry farms

swirl_110_orig

moonberry

Last up is the moonberry jar’s new prize, which is the Farm House Cabinet.

farm house cabinet

I’m sure you’ve caught onto the pattern by now. 🙂 The Farm House Cabinet is made out of the same grey toned wood to match with the other Farm House prizes. It’s actually a dresser that holds 12 clothing items:

So, if you put all the new prizes together, you get something like this:

If you love Jumbleberry Fields, the Ganz eStore offers a couple of different ways to enhance your game play. You can buy seeds to grow all four types of berries in your pet’s garden. These berry seed packets are available in the Ganz eStore for purchase with eStore points.

You can also purchase “Bonus Plays” right from the game itself. Use your eStore points to buy 1 Bonus Play or 3 Bonus Plays:

Speaking of the eStore and berries, there are also lots of really cool items you purchase with eStore points to design and build an awesome Jumbleberry Fields room or farm.

Here’s a few examples:

These items are available for Berry Fest, but they may not last for long, so check it out while you have the chance.

Which of these new prizes is your favorite? What prize are you saving up for? Let me know in the comments for a jumbleberry prize via Kinzpost! 🙂

A Closer Look at New Spree Prizes: Trampoline, Cake and Pizza

spree tag

New prizes recently debuted in the Spree Mall, and I was able to pick up a few last week. With the mall credits I had saved up I bought the Fun Floor Trampoline, the Pile of Pizza and the Platter Birthday Cake.

spree2-300x162

Let’s take a closer look at each of these new Spree prizes!

Fun Floor Trampoline

Fun Floor Trampoline

The Fun Floor Trampoline is a cheerful green color and really quite large. As you can see, the Fun Floor Trampoline is made to look like it’s set into the floor. It’s interactive, as you probably guessed. One fun thing about this trampoline is that your pets twirl in the air when they jump on it, rather than just bouncing up and down like they do on the regular trampoline that’s available in the WShop.

Pile of Pizza

Pile of Pizza

The Pile of Pizza is a stack of pizza boxes with the Pizza Palace logo on them. Like several of the new Webkinz items that have been added recently, the Pile of Pizza can be turned for 4 different looks:

Here’s the way the Pile of Pizza transforms when you turn it:

Platter Birthday Cake

platter birthday cake

The Platter Birthday Cake looks sooo yummy! 🙂 It’s a white cake that features 4 blue candles that light up when you click on the cake. Here’s a gif that shows the candles turning off and on:

I’m close to reaching the Spree Mall on my  TreeHuggerJess account, so hopefully I’ll have more new prizes to show you very soon! Which of these three prizes is your favorite? What are you saving up your mall credits to buy?

spree dice

If you just can’t wait to get to the Spree Mall to check out all the new prizes, you can purchase extra turns at the Ganz eStore using your eStore points! You can purchase a 5 pack or a 10 pack. 🙂

New Room Theme: Party Time

Update: I just found out that I made a mistake reporting on the Party Time theme. Three of the items in the collection are Deluxe only. I’ll fix the post soon! 🙂

its-party-time

On May 10th, a new room theme arrived in the WShop. It’s called “Party Time,” and it’s a collection of furniture and decorations to create a birthday party (or any type of party, really).

happy birthday

There are 14 items total in the Party Time collection.

party time in w shop

Here’s a list of the items with their corresponding prices:

  1. Banner: 300
  2. Column: 800
  3. Counter: 450
  4. Dining chair: 400
  5. Table: 600
  6. Flooring: 350
  7. Kitchen Island: 650
  8. Poster: 250
  9. Presents: 300
  10. Sink: 525
  11. Snacks: 230
  12. Sofa: 600
  13. Wallpaper: 350
  14. Window: 650

Without any coupons, buying the entire Party Time theme will cost you 6,455 kinzcash.

One of the great things about the Party Time room theme is that all of the items are available to all members. There are no items that are available exclusively to Deluxe members.

Here’s a large sized room I put together using only pieces from the Party Time theme:

party time room

To me the room seems a little bare with just the Party Time items. Maybe a smaller sized room would be better, or perhaps the Party Time room theme needs to be mixed/matched with other theme items.

There are two items in the Party Time room theme that I want to highlight – the Snacks and the Presents. These are my favorite items because they can be rotated to create different looks, like the Trolley Wardrobe in the Hotel Theme.

Let’s start with the Snacks.

This gif shows the transformation the Snacks go through when you rotate the item:

ezgif.com-crop(1)

As you can see from the gif, there are 4 separate designs available within the Snacks – punch bowl, cupcakes, birthday cake and veggie/chip tray:

4 foods

These snacks are pretty versatile. I can definitely think of lots of uses for all four designs. How about you?

Next let’s look at the Presents. Here’s another gif to show you the transformation:

ezgif.com-crop

As with the Snacks, there are 4 different looks hidden within just one item:

4 presents

I love how you can create a unique looking pile of gifts by rotating and arranging the Presents – you can have everything from a solitary wrapped box to a mixture of boxes and gift bags. I think the Presents will be an item I will use in lots of different rooms.

Another item in the Party Theme that I want to spotlight is the Sink. The Sink is interactive. You can go from a clean, empty sink:

clean sink

To a sink full of dishes:

dishes sink

These are some really cute details here – look at the confetti sprinkled around the basin of the sink – it really looks like your cleaning up after a party!

So, what do you think about the Party Time theme? Do you plan to buy the whole collection or just a few pieces? Which Party Time items are your favorite? Let me know in the comments for a Party Time prize via kinzpost. 🙂

A Closer Look: Trapdoor

Today I’m going to take a closer look at the last of the three new Exclusive Items that were recently added to the Wish Factory. We’ve already seen the Messy Room Floor Tile and the Salad Bar Fridge, so today we’re going to check out the Trapdoor.

trapdoor

The Trapdoor, like the other two new Exclusive Items, costs 15 tokens. It looks like a wooden door with a metal ring for a handle and a ladder inside leading down:

trapdoor 1

trapdoor 2

To me the Trapdoor has a farmhouse feel to it. I think it works well with wood flooring, and the ladder made me think of the Jumbleberry themed rooms you can make with prizes from Jumbleberry Fields.

Here’s the Trapdoor in one of my Jumbleberry rooms. This room, which is still a work in progress, is a kitchen for making jam. (If you like the Jumbleberry room items, you can fill your jars faster by purchasing berry seeds in the Ganz eStore!)

trapdoor room 2

The Trapdoor is interactive, but not in the way that you expect. Instead of providing storage for clothes or food, the Trapdoor “transports” you to a map of all your rooms. Take a look at what I mean:

ezgif.com-video-to-gif(29)

So what do you think of the Trapdoor? Do you like this interactive feature? Which of these new Exclusive Items is your favorite? Let me know in the comments for a prize via Kinzpost! One lucky commenter just might get an Exclusive Item!

And if you want to earn extra Wish Tokens, take a look at a Deluxe Membership for a daily spin on the Wheel of Wishes! From now until March 24th, Deluxe Memberships are 25% off and come with a free pet, the Sheltie Puppy!

A Closer Look: Salad Bar Fridge

Webkinz recently release three new Exclusive Items, and one of those new items is the Salad Bar Fridge:

salad bar buffet

Even though the word “hotel” isn’t anywhere in the name, the Salad Bar Fridge fits with the Fancy Hotel Theme perfectly. In fact, the colors and the design are an exact match with the Fancy Hotel Dining Table.

salad bar and dining table

As you can see, the decorative ironwork on the sides of the Salad Bar Fridge match the base of the Fancy Hotel Dining Table. You can also see a matching pattern and color scheme with the blue and white stripes.

Because these two items are such a great match, I wanted to see what it would look like to put a small cafe area in the lobby of a hotel room:

salad bar buffet room

This room is a bit too small for a cafe, but I do think the idea could work with a bigger room, a few more Fancy Hotel Dining Tables and some type of dividers to separate the cafe area from the rest of the lobby.

I really like that Webkinz has given us another item to build onto the Fancy Hotel Theme. You can use it to mix and match with the hotel room you may have already built, or you can put together something entirely brand new with no hotel items at all.

Just as the name suggests, the Salad Bar Fridge is a refrigerator that stores 12 food items:

If you haven’t already done so, check out my post on another new Exclusive Item – the Messy Room Floor Tile.

Don’t forget that Deluxe Members get to spin the Wheel of Wishes every day. By spinning the Wheel of Wishes every day, you could add one or two Exclusive Items to your collection every month – and it will make it easier to save up for those expense Wish Factory prizes I’ve been cataloging.

Deluxe Memberships are available exclusively through the Ganz eStore – check it out today!

What do you think of the Salad Bar Fridge? Are you planning to buy one with your Wish Tokens? Let me know in the comments, and I’ll send you a hotel theme prize via Kinzpost!

New Wish Factory Prizes: Letters F and G

I’m back with another look into the different type of prizes (not exclusives!) that Ganz added to the Wish Factory a while back. I’m going in alphabetical order, so in case you missed it, here are the links to my earlier posts:

Letter B

Letter C

Today we’re going to start with Letter F.

letter-f-512

Letter F takes us to the Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed.

flowing-ribbons-four-post-bed

flowing-ribbons-3

Like several of the new prizes in the Wish Factory, the Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed (wow – that’s a mouthful!) was originally a prize from the Mazin’ Hamsters section of Webkinz World. When the Mazin’ Hamsters area was retired, Ganz hinted that some of the prizes would pop back up in Webkinz World, and the Flowing Ribbons Bed is one of them.

flowing-ribbons-4

I think the Flowing Ribbons Bed is really pretty, and I love the blue and pink color combination. If you ever checked out the Mazin’ Hamster prizes in the past, then you know that this bed is quite a bit different from the other Mazin’ Hamster room items.

Here’s a look at what most of the Mazin’ Hamster items look like:

mazin-hamster-room

The Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed costs a whopping 300 tokens! Wow! I wish I had bought more of those with my Mazin’ coins because these beds are really valuable!

Next up – Letter G.

letter-g-xxl

First is the Garden Mosaic, which is actually the only one of the new prizes I don’t yet have. (It’s what I wish for when one of my pets asks to make a “wish of the day.”)

garden-mosaic

Even though I don’t have the Garden Mosaic, I DO have the Lovely Garden Mosaic, which is the virtually the same item as the Garden Mosaic; it’s just done in different colors:

garden-mosaic-pink

The Garden Mosaic costs 100 tokens.

Second, we have the Garden Patio Tile:

garden-patio-tile

garden-patio-tile-2

The Garden Patio Tile was a prize during the 2015 flower collection event. In the picture above you can see some of the other prizes that were awarded during that same event.

One really cool thing about the Garden Patio Tile is that if you collect four of them, you can cover an entire yard and/or floor – here’s a look at what I mean:

garden-patio-2

The Garden Patio Tile costs 70 tokens, so you’ll have to do quite a bit of saving if you want four of them!

Next up is the Giant Rafflesia Plant for 70 tokens:

giant-raffleisa-plant

giant-raffle-2

The Giant Rafflesia Plant  is only for decoration. It’s not a chair like you might think at first. Originally the Giant Rafflesia Plant was a prize you could earn by playing Webkinz Friends, which was a Facebook game that involved building and growing your own Webkinz town.

Here’s a different view of the Giant Rafflesia Plant:

giant-raffle-3

Last up for the Letter G is the Green Oak Leaf Chair for 60 tokens:

green-oak-leaf-chair

The Green Oak Leaf Chair was a prize that could be won during the 2013 acorn collection event, which is also where the Blue Fall Season Window came from.

The Green Oak Leaf Chair is a green leaf attached to a big acorn:

green-oak-leaf-2green-oak-leaf-3

Just as you would expect from the name, your pet can sit in this item:

green-oak-leaf-4

That’s all for letter F and G – next time we’ll skip all the way to letters M and O!

A new approach to a new theme: Nautical Navy

If you’ve browsed through the Ganz eStore recently, then you’ve probably come across the Nautical Navy theme, specifically the Nautical Navy ?? Box.

estore-gift-white-and-dark-blue

One thing you’ll notice right away is that Nautical Navy theme is being sold in a completely new and different way – instead of selecting individual pieces to buy, the only way to get a Nautical Navy item is to buy a Nautical Navy ?? Box, which awards one random piece of the theme.

These are the items in the collection:

nautical-navy-items

As you can see from the picture above, the items awarded by the Nautical Navy ?? Box are all tradeable.

I was curious about how these new mystery boxes would work, so I bought three of them. I wound up with two Nautical Navy Rocking Chairs and one Nautical Navy Slide.

Both items are animated and interactive, as you can see in the gifs below:

ezgif-com-video-to-gif10

ezgif-com-video-to-gif8

Here’s a picture to give you an idea of the scale of these two items:

nautical-navy-stuff-in-room

You can see from the picture that the Nautical Navy Slide is quite large in comparison to my pet and the other furniture.

The Nautical Navy theme is designed for building a nursery with an ocean/ship theme. Some of the pieces, though, would work in any beach or ocean inspired room.

What do you think about the new way Ganz is offering the Nautical Navy items? On the one hand, you can end up with duplicates like I did, and it’s not possible to select a specific item to buy.

On the other hand, the mystery boxes are fun, and they’re a great value. Deluxe Members pay 2,250 eStore points (regular members pay 4,000) for an item that would normally cost 5,000 to 6,000 eStore points.

Will you be buying a Nautical Navy ?? Box? Do you hope that Ganz offers more of these mystery box themes in the future?
