Wish Factory Prizes: Letter W

Well, here we are – at the end of the list! We’ve made it all the way to Letter W, and that leaves us with five Wish Factory prizes left to look at.

letter w

First up for Letter W is the Water Tower Chair for 100 Wish Tokens:

water tower chair

The Water Tower Chair, like the Moolah Mountain Window and Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed, is a prize from Mazin’ Hamsters. Now that the Mazin’ Hamsters area of Webkinz World has been retired, Ganz is making some of these items available again by putting them in the Wish Factory.

As you can see, the Water Tower Chair looks like a barrel of water sitting on top of a tall wooden platform:

water tower chair 2

Because it’s a chair, your pet can sit in this item:

water tower chair 3

The Water Tower Chair is an unusual item, but it’s one that I’ve been able to use in a few room designs. For example, here is a Water Tower Chair in a “Carrot Paradise” room:

water tower chair 4

Up next is another water-related item, the Water Treadmill:

water treadmill

The Water Treadmill, which costs 100 Tokens, was a prize available during a collection event leading up to the release of Webkinz X. The Sport Soaker Tub, which we’ve already looked at, was part of this same collection event.

I like the Water Treadmill because it has such a high tech look to it. It’s so different from the plain blue treadmill you can buy in the WShop.

water treadmill 2

The Water Treadmill is also very useful. Give your pet a workout on this piece of gym equipment, and you’ll help fill their heart!

Now let’s take a look at the oh-so-cute White Chocolate Fountain:

white chocolate fountain

The White Chocolate Fountain costs 100 Tokens. It was first available as a prize you could earn by playing Webkinz Friends. A few other prizes in the Wish Factory were originally from Webkinz Friends, like the Giant Rafflesia Plant and Millie’s Slide. Webkinz Friends, as I’ve mentioned before, was a Facebook game where you interacted with other Facebook players to build up your own Webkinz town. The game has since been retired.

white chocolate 2

I really like the White Chocolate Fountain because of it’s sweet pink colors, and it just looks so yummy! 🙂 I was lucky to be able to trade for a White Chocolate Fountain in the Trading Room. The White Chocolate Fountain is for decoration only. It’s not interactive or animated.

Our next prize is another throwback to the days of Mazin’ Hamsters. It’s Willow’s Tree, and it costs 100 Wish Tokens:

willows tree

As you can see, Willow’s Tree is actually a willow tree, but it’s special because the front of the tree is decorate with a golden hamster face. You can turn your Willow’s Tree in all four directions to get different looks.

willows tree 2

During my years of playing Mazin’ Hamsters I was able to collect quite a few Willow’s Trees. Here’s a garden I made using some of them:

willows tree

Last up in our list of Wish Factory prizes is the Wooden Garden Archway for 150 tokens:

wooden garden archway

I have a Wooden Garden Archway, but I just can’t seem to find it anywhere! Look closely and you can see that there are potted flowers at the base of the archway. It’s a really pretty item for any garden, but I think it would look especially nice in a Zen Garden or Japanese Garden.

Like many other items on this list, the Wooden Garden Archway was a Mazin’ Hamsters prize. I guess it just goes to show that you can never tell when an item is going to become extra valuable. 🙂

Now that we’ve looked at all of the special prizes that were added to the Wish Factory, do you know which one is your favorite? Are you saving up your tokens for one of these expensive items or do you prefer to buy the items that cost 10 or 15 tokens? Let me know in the comments for a chance to win an Exclusive Item through the Kinzpost!

Wish Factory Prizes: Letters R and S

Hello my Webkinz friends! I’m back with a look at a couple more prizes in the Wish Factory. These are the more expensive items – not the ones you get when you adopt a new pet and the ones that max out at 15 tokens.

letter r

We’ve been working out way through the alphabet, and now we’re up to the Letter R (there’s no items starting with P or Q). The Letter R brings us to Raziel’s Slide, which costs 300 tokens.

raziel slide

Raziel is a dragon that lives in the caves underneath Adventure Park. You encounter Raziel when completing certain Adventure Park quests.

Raziel

Raziel’s Slide was an item you could win during a mega collection event way back in 2013. It’s an interactive item – your pet can slide down it:

ezgif.com-add-text(3)

Here is another picture of Raziel’s slide so you can see its size in relation to other slides:

raziel slide

letter s

Let’s move along to Letter S. There’s only one item beginning with Letter S, and that’s the Sport Soaker Tub:

sport soaker tub

The Sport Soaker Tub costs 100 tokens. It was a prize you could earn during a collection event called “I Love My Webkinz.” This collection event featured other items you can use to keep your pet happy and healthy, such as a treadmill and a blender. These items were helping to lead the way for the transition into “Webkinz X,” which is the version you’re now playing (family scores, filling hearts, etc).

As you probably guessed, you can use the Sport Soaker Tub to give your pet a bath:

sport soaker 3sport soaker 4

The Water Treadmill, which I’ll talk about in the future, was also part of the heart collection event. Both items fit very well with a fitness theme and would look great in a gym-themed room.

That’s all for Letters R and S. Are you planning to save up for Raziel’s Slide or the Sport Soaker Tub? Let me know in the comments! 🙂

A Closer Look: Trapdoor

Today I’m going to take a closer look at the last of the three new Exclusive Items that were recently added to the Wish Factory. We’ve already seen the Messy Room Floor Tile and the Salad Bar Fridge, so today we’re going to check out the Trapdoor.

trapdoor

The Trapdoor, like the other two new Exclusive Items, costs 15 tokens. It looks like a wooden door with a metal ring for a handle and a ladder inside leading down:

trapdoor 1

trapdoor 2

To me the Trapdoor has a farmhouse feel to it. I think it works well with wood flooring, and the ladder made me think of the Jumbleberry themed rooms you can make with prizes from Jumbleberry Fields.

Here’s the Trapdoor in one of my Jumbleberry rooms. This room, which is still a work in progress, is a kitchen for making jam. (If you like the Jumbleberry room items, you can fill your jars faster by purchasing berry seeds in the Ganz eStore!)

trapdoor room 2

The Trapdoor is interactive, but not in the way that you expect. Instead of providing storage for clothes or food, the Trapdoor “transports” you to a map of all your rooms. Take a look at what I mean:

ezgif.com-video-to-gif(29)

So what do you think of the Trapdoor? Do you like this interactive feature? Which of these new Exclusive Items is your favorite? Let me know in the comments for a prize via Kinzpost! One lucky commenter just might get an Exclusive Item!

And if you want to earn extra Wish Tokens, take a look at a Deluxe Membership for a daily spin on the Wheel of Wishes! From now until March 24th, Deluxe Memberships are 25% off and come with a free pet, the Sheltie Puppy!

A Closer Look: Salad Bar Fridge

Webkinz recently release three new Exclusive Items, and one of those new items is the Salad Bar Fridge:

salad bar buffet

Even though the word “hotel” isn’t anywhere in the name, the Salad Bar Fridge fits with the Fancy Hotel Theme perfectly. In fact, the colors and the design are an exact match with the Fancy Hotel Dining Table.

salad bar and dining table

As you can see, the decorative ironwork on the sides of the Salad Bar Fridge match the base of the Fancy Hotel Dining Table. You can also see a matching pattern and color scheme with the blue and white stripes.

Because these two items are such a great match, I wanted to see what it would look like to put a small cafe area in the lobby of a hotel room:

salad bar buffet room

This room is a bit too small for a cafe, but I do think the idea could work with a bigger room, a few more Fancy Hotel Dining Tables and some type of dividers to separate the cafe area from the rest of the lobby.

I really like that Webkinz has given us another item to build onto the Fancy Hotel Theme. You can use it to mix and match with the hotel room you may have already built, or you can put together something entirely brand new with no hotel items at all.

Just as the name suggests, the Salad Bar Fridge is a refrigerator that stores 12 food items:

If you haven’t already done so, check out my post on another new Exclusive Item – the Messy Room Floor Tile.

Don’t forget that Deluxe Members get to spin the Wheel of Wishes every day. By spinning the Wheel of Wishes every day, you could add one or two Exclusive Items to your collection every month – and it will make it easier to save up for those expense Wish Factory prizes I’ve been cataloging.

Deluxe Memberships are available exclusively through the Ganz eStore – check it out today!

What do you think of the Salad Bar Fridge? Are you planning to buy one with your Wish Tokens? Let me know in the comments, and I’ll send you a hotel theme prize via Kinzpost!

A Closer Look: Messy Room Floor Tile

Webkinz recently announced the release of three brand new Exclusive Items! Exclusive Items are prizes that can be found in the Wish Factory. You get an Exclusive Item as a free gift each time you adopt a pet. You can also purchase them using Wish Tokens. If you’re feeling lucky, you can try the “Wish of the Day,” and maybe you’ll win the Exclusive Item of your dreams!

The three new Exclusive Items that have been added to the the Wish Factory are:

  1. The Messy Room Floor Tile
  2. The Salad Bar Fridge
  3. The Trapdoor

Exclusive-Items

To make room for these three new items, the Bubble Wrap Chair has been retired. If you’ve got a Bubble Wrap Chair, hold onto it – it’s about to become much more valuable in the trading room!

Today we’re going to take a closer look at the Messy Room Floor Tile, which costs 15 tokens.

messy floor tile

I really love the Messy Room Floor Tile. Why? Lots of reasons! One reason to love the Messy Floor Tile is that it’s the very first floor tile to be added as an Exclusive Item. There aren’t many types of floor tiles in Webkinz World, but these are really great items because they allow you to decorate the floor of your room.

Another reason I love the Messy Room Floor Tile is that it’s just so cute! It looks like a bunch of pieces of clothing strewn around the floor, so it’s the perfect fit for a fun, messy, girlie room like this one:

(Notice the Messy Room Floor Tile in the lower left corner)

Messy floor tile room 2

You can tell in the picture that the Messy Room Floor Tile is actually really big:

messy floor tile size

Another cool thing about the Messy Room Floor Tile is that it can be rotated to achieve different looks. Depending on which way you turn the Messy Room Floor Tile, you’ll see different types of clothing items:

messy floor tile closeup

Here’s another look at the same room but with the Messy Room Floor Tile turned a different way:

messy room tile

What do you think about the Messy Room Floor Tile? Do you plan to purchase one from the Wish Factory? Let me know in the comments. A couple of lucky commenters will get an exclusive item through the Kinzpost! 🙂

If you just can’t wait to get the Messy Room Floor Tile or one of the other new Exclusive Items, become a Deluxe Member. Deluxe Members now get to spin the Wheel of Wishes every day! That means a chance at one or even two Wish Tokens each day  you play Webkinz! (Deluxe Memberships are available for purchase in the Ganz eStore.)

Wish Factory Prizes: Letters M and O

I’m back with a look at a few more of the Wish Factory prizes that were added in addition to the Exclusive Items.

It’s been a while since these prizes were added, and since I started cataloging them, so let’s talk a minute about what makes them different. Exclusive Items are items you can get two ways – you are awarded an Exclusive Item each time you adopt a pet, and you can also buy Exclusive Items with Wish Tokens.

These newer prizes are a bit different. First, they require many more tokens to buy. Some of these newer prizes can cost as many as 300 tokens, whereas the Exclusive Items max out at 15 tokens.

Another difference is that these new items were once available to Webkinz players in different ways. For example, these might have been prizes in a Marshmallow Collection Event or maybe a prize you could earn by playing with your Mazin’ Hamster. Ganz added these prizes to the Wish Factory to give everyone a chance to earn these cool items.

So far we’ve gone through Letter G. Now we’ll skip ahead to Letter M (there aren’t new prizes that start with H, I, J, K or L.)

letter-m

First up is Millie’s Slide:

millies-slide

Millie’s Slide is a purple slide that costs 100 Wish Tokens.

millies-slide-3

Originally you could earn Millie’s Slide as a prize playing Webkinz Friends. Webkinz Friends, which I’ve mentioned before, was a Facebook game that involved building your own Webkinz town. Webkinz Friends doesn’t exist anymore, but some of the prizes pop up from time to time, such as this slide.

Millie’s Slide is interactive. Here’s a look at my pet playing on Millie’s Slide:

ezgif-com-video-to-gif22

Next up is the Moolah Mountain Window:

moolah-mountain-window

The Moolah Mountain Window was a prize from Mazin’ Hamsters. Moolah Mountain was a place in the Mazin’ Hamsters world where your hamster could roll down the mountain and collect coins to buy prizes. The window is shaped like a hamster and looks out onto Moolah Mountain.

Here’s a look at the Moolah Mountain Window in a pet’s room:

moolah-mountain-3

As you can see, I have a few of these collected from the days when Mazin’ Hamsters was still available – almost all of the items in this room are Mazin’ Hamsters prizes:

moolah-mountain-2

The Moolah Mountain Window is available in the Wish Factory for 100 tokens.

letter-o

Last for today is the Oak Tree Gazebo that costs 150 tokens.

oak-tree-gazebo

Like Millie’s Slide, the Oak Tree Gazebo was also a prize from Webkinz Friends. Your pet can sit on the chair that’s inside the Gazebo:

oak-tree-gazebo-3

That’s all for today. Next time we’ll look at Letters R and S!

If you want to earn these prizes faster, one way is to become a Deluxe member. Deluxe members now get to spin the Wheel of Wishes every day! Check out the Ganz eStore for more details on Deluxe memberships.

New Wish Factory Prizes: Letters F and G

I’m back with another look into the different type of prizes (not exclusives!) that Ganz added to the Wish Factory a while back. I’m going in alphabetical order, so in case you missed it, here are the links to my earlier posts:

Letter B

Letter C

Today we’re going to start with Letter F.

letter-f-512

Letter F takes us to the Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed.

flowing-ribbons-four-post-bed

flowing-ribbons-3

Like several of the new prizes in the Wish Factory, the Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed (wow – that’s a mouthful!) was originally a prize from the Mazin’ Hamsters section of Webkinz World. When the Mazin’ Hamsters area was retired, Ganz hinted that some of the prizes would pop back up in Webkinz World, and the Flowing Ribbons Bed is one of them.

flowing-ribbons-4

I think the Flowing Ribbons Bed is really pretty, and I love the blue and pink color combination. If you ever checked out the Mazin’ Hamster prizes in the past, then you know that this bed is quite a bit different from the other Mazin’ Hamster room items.

Here’s a look at what most of the Mazin’ Hamster items look like:

mazin-hamster-room

The Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed costs a whopping 300 tokens! Wow! I wish I had bought more of those with my Mazin’ coins because these beds are really valuable!

Next up – Letter G.

letter-g-xxl

First is the Garden Mosaic, which is actually the only one of the new prizes I don’t yet have. (It’s what I wish for when one of my pets asks to make a “wish of the day.”)

garden-mosaic

Even though I don’t have the Garden Mosaic, I DO have the Lovely Garden Mosaic, which is the virtually the same item as the Garden Mosaic; it’s just done in different colors:

garden-mosaic-pink

The Garden Mosaic costs 100 tokens.

Second, we have the Garden Patio Tile:

garden-patio-tile

garden-patio-tile-2

The Garden Patio Tile was a prize during the 2015 flower collection event. In the picture above you can see some of the other prizes that were awarded during that same event.

One really cool thing about the Garden Patio Tile is that if you collect four of them, you can cover an entire yard and/or floor – here’s a look at what I mean:

garden-patio-2

The Garden Patio Tile costs 70 tokens, so you’ll have to do quite a bit of saving if you want four of them!

Next up is the Giant Rafflesia Plant for 70 tokens:

giant-raffleisa-plant

giant-raffle-2

The Giant Rafflesia Plant  is only for decoration. It’s not a chair like you might think at first. Originally the Giant Rafflesia Plant was a prize you could earn by playing Webkinz Friends, which was a Facebook game that involved building and growing your own Webkinz town.

Here’s a different view of the Giant Rafflesia Plant:

giant-raffle-3

Last up for the Letter G is the Green Oak Leaf Chair for 60 tokens:

green-oak-leaf-chair

The Green Oak Leaf Chair was a prize that could be won during the 2013 acorn collection event, which is also where the Blue Fall Season Window came from.

The Green Oak Leaf Chair is a green leaf attached to a big acorn:

green-oak-leaf-2green-oak-leaf-3

Just as you would expect from the name, your pet can sit in this item:

green-oak-leaf-4

That’s all for letter F and G – next time we’ll skip all the way to letters M and O!

New Prizes in the Wish Factory: Letter C

Recently I decided to start cataloging and showcasing all of the new prizes that have recently been added to the Wish Factory. For an overview of what makes these new prizes unique from other Wish Factory exclusives, check out my blog post on the Letter B prizes.

Today we’re onto Letter C, and that means two items: the Campkinz Library Bookshelf and the Campkinz Pool.

letter-c-icon-png-32

First we’ll take a closer look at the Campkinz Library Bookshelf:

campkinz-library-bookshelf-370x540

The Campkinz Library Bookshelf was a prize in the 2014 Marshmallow Collection event. As you can see, the bookshelf looks like a boat standing on end and stacked with books.

Here’s the Campkinz Library Bookshelf in a camp-themed room I created:

 campkinz-library-bookshelf

The Campkinz Library Bookshelf is for decoration only. It’s not an interactive item, and it can’t be used for storage. You can get the Campkinz Library Bookshelf in the Wish Factory for 70 tokens.

The other Letter C item is the Campkinz Pool:

campkinz-pool-2

The Campkinz Pool was also a marshmallow collection event prize. It’s now available in the Wish Factory for 300 tokens.

Unlike the bookshelf, the Campkinz Pool is interactive. Your pet bounces on the diving board and jumps in with a splash.

Check out the gif below to see the Campkinz Pool in action:

ezgif-com-video-to-gif4

Do you already have one of these Campkinz prizes? Are you saving up your tokens to buy one? Let me know in the comments!

New Prizes in the Wish Factory: Letter B

Not long ago, Ganz made a pretty big change to the Wish Factory. Instead of just exclusive items, like the Gumball Lounger or Airplane Window, the Wish Factory now offers retired items from past challenges and events.

wish-factory

For example, there’s the Campkinz Pool, which was part of a Marshmallow Collection event in 2013. There’s also the Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed and the Moolah Mountain Window, which were prizes that could be won by playing Mazin’ Hamsters, a section of Webkinz World that is no longer available.

Another big difference you’ll notice with these recently added items is the cost. Rather than 10 to 15 tokens, these items cost anywhere from 70 to 300 tokens. Even if you’re a Deluxe Member, and you get extra opportunities to win Wish Tokens, it’s still going to take quite a long while before you can save up 300 tokens. You’ll definitely want to be sure that the item is worth all those tokens before you use the Wish Machine.

wish-token

Thinking about all of this gave me an idea. I’ve been playing Webkinz since 2007, and between my two accounts, I have almost every one of the retired items that have been added to the Wish Factory. I decided to give you a closer look at all of these items to help you make your choice once you’ve saved up all those tokens.

By my count there are 19 of these retired exclusives in the Wish Factory. Going through all 19 right here and right now would be a really, really long blog post! 🙂 Instead, I’m going to break up the project into several shorter posts. The Wish Factory lists the items in alphabetical order, so that’s what I’m going to do, too.

None of the new prizes start with “A” so we’ll begin with “B.”

letter-b

First is the Blue Fall Season Window for 100 tokens.

blue-fall-season-window

I do have at least one Blue Fall Season Windows. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find it in either of my accounts, so I don’t have a picture for you.

Next is the Blue Flowery Greenhouse for 200 tokens.

blue-flowery-greenhouse

Here’s an up close look at the greenhouse:

blue-flowery-2

And here’s my greenhouse in a spring garden:

blue-flowery

The Blue Flowery Greenhouse contains storage space:

blue-flowery-3

The Blue Flowery Greenhouse might look familiar to you. That could be because there is also a Yellow Flowery Greenhouse and a Purple Flowery Greenhouse. Besides the difference in colors, the three items are exactly the same.

purple-and-yellow-flowery-greenhouses

That’s all for the letter “B.” I’ll be back soon with the letter “C” and the two Campkinz prizes!

What do you think about the new prizes in the Wish Factory? Are you saving up your Wish Tokens for a retired prize?

A Closer Look: Fancy Hotel Dining Table

Today we’re taking a closer look at the last of the three new exclusive items that have recently been added to the Wish Factory: The Fancy Hotel Dining Table.

fancy-hotel-dining-table-2

The Fancy Hotel Dining Table costs 15 Wish Tokens, and it matches perfectly with the hotel theme that was recently added to the WShop.

Here’s a look at the Fancy Hotel Dining Table inside of a hotel-themed room I put together when the hotel theme was first released:

fancy-hotel-dining-table

One cool thing about the Fancy Hotel Dining Table is that you can make food appear and disappear by click on the table:

So far I haven’t really figured out what type of chair would look best with this table. What chair would you pair with the Fancy Hotel Dining Table?

How would you use the Fancy Hotel Dining Table – would you add it to a hotel lobby or hotel bedroom? Or would you use several to make an upscale restaurant?
