Yesterday, Ganz introduced Jumbleberry Blast – a new game in the Webkinz Arcade. In my last blog post, I broke down the game and showed you the different levels and challenges. Today I have a video of what it looks like to actually play Jumbleberry Blast. The farthest I’ve made it is to Level 18. In this video, I show you game play through Level 16.

The other day I blogged about the “slips” (Nafaria’s Purple Slippers) that I got in the Webkinz Trading Room. Today I found out that everyone who plays May Peek-A-Newz has a chance to win their own pair of slips!
One of the latest posts on Webkinz Newz showed the prize pool for May’s Peek-A-Newz challenge…and “slips” are one of the rare prizes you can win!
If you play Peek-A-Newz every day in May, that’s 31 chances to win a pair of slips! Pretty cool, huh?

Yesterday Ganz released a new game in the Webkinz Arcade – it’s called Jumbleberry Blast.
Jumbleberry Blast is currently only available to Deluxe members, but remember, non-deluxe members will be able to play Jumbleberry Blast if it’s the “Game of the Day.”
Jumble Berry Blast is essentially a color matching game. You build chains of matching berries (the same berries that appear in Jumbleberry Fields.) Chains can be built horizontally, vertically and diagonally, which enables you to build very long chains (more on that later).
Here are the instructions for the game:
Each level presents you with a new goal or challenge. For instance, in the first five levels, the goal is to reach a certain amount of points within a certain amount of moves. For example, on level 1, your goal is to reach 100 points in 7 moves.
If you meet the goal with any moves left over, you get ten bonus points for each unused move:
Once you reach level 4, you unlock the ability to create “shining” berries by building chains of 7 or more berries.
When shining berries are matched up, they clear either a row or a column. The direction of the shine indicates whether the match will clear vertically or horizontally. Here’s an example:
Levels 1 through 5 are the most straightforward. When you get to level 6, “rot” is introduced. The rot looks like small green squares, as you can see in the picture below. In order to remove the pieces of rot, you must clear the berries on top of the rot:
Levels 11 and 12 go back to the same goal as levels 1 through 5, but this time a bright blue berry is introduced. Adding the extra color makes it more difficult to build long chains.
Once you hit level 13, it’s time to start collecting jam jars. A jam jar is “collected” when all the berries beneath it are cleared, and the jar falls to the bottom of the column.
The jam jar levels are about as far as I’ve made it in Jumbleberry Blast so far. Once you’re past the jam jars, the following level (maybe more?) returns to removing rot.
I don’t know what happens after that – from the pictures of the game, it looks like something involving a bug is going to happen in some of the higher levels.

Do you visit Webkinz Newz? I do! In fact, I visit the site every morning to get kinzcash, free food and daily prizes. If you visit every day, the prizes and kinzcash will really start to add up. It’s free, quick and easy!
Here’s what I do on Webkinz Newz each morning:
First I get my free food item by clicking to receive the daily freebie: “Monthly Meal.”
Each month is a new “monthly meal” food item. It usually relates to upcoming events or holidays in some way.
After I get my free food item, I return to the “Events” page to get started on the monthly “Peek-A-Newz.”
As I’m searching through Webkinz Newz to find the “host” five times and earn my Peek-A-Newz prize, I also take the short quiz (it’s just one question!) to earn a 50 kinzcash coin that’s sent to my Webkinz account. (The quiz changes each month.)
Right after I take the quiz, I make sure to also participate in the “Pick and Win” for another 50 kinzcash. The Pick and Win is fun because it’s just a quick poll that asks for your opinion, usually about which featured pet you like best. (The poll also changes each month.)
All along the way, as I do these various activities, I’m also earning “moneyz.”
You can use your “moneyz” to buy prizes for your Webkinz account. These are special prizes that are only available for purchase through Webkinz Newz. (Hint: Webkinz Newz prizes do GREAT in the Trading Room!) You can earn up to 500 moneyz per day per account.

It’s worth 100 kinzcash if you sell it back to the WShop so it’s worth your time to click the link each day even if you don’t plan to dress your pet with it.
I pulled off an incredible feat the other day in the Trading Room – I managed to land myself a pair of “slips”!
What are slips? Slips is the nickname used for Nafaria’s Purple Slippers.
But why call them slips? Because – and this is a bit strange to me – for some reason you can’t say the word “Nafaria” in the Clubhouse. So, they came to be known as “slips” for short.
They are one of the most coveted items in all of Webkinz World. And they’re very hard to get. I’ve seen them in the Trading Room a few times, but I’ve never been successful in trading for them before.
So what’s the story with these slips and what makes them so special? From what I’ve been able to find out, Nafaria’s Purple Slippers are available as a prize from the Series 4 Trading Cards. I’ve had a couple of boxes of Series 4, and I’ve never gotten any slips. I also read that the slips were a “peek-a-newz” prize at some point.
What makes them so “in demand” isn’t quite clear. I’ve wanted them because they are sooo cute, and they look really great with so many different outfits:
Slips are also kind of a “status symbol.” It’s definitely odd that there could be such a thing as a status symbol in Webkinz World, but it’s true. There are certain clothing items that people like to put on their pets when they’re going to be in the park or the clubhouse. It makes sense in the trading room, where exclusive clothing items like slips send the message that you’ve got good stuff to trade. (That’s my theory anyway!)

Yesterday we took a closer look at the newest additions to the KinzStyle Outlet. Today, I’m taking you inside the KinzStyle Shop to see what Persephone has added to her collection.

With the exception of clothing codes (and Webkinz clothing is hard to find!) the KinzStyle Shop – and the clothes sold in it – is currently only available to Deluxe Members. So if you haven’t seen it before, here’s a look at the new collection in the store itself. The six new items are circled in red in the top row:
There are several differences between the KinzStyle Shop and the KinzStyle Outlet, even though they share very similar names. One of those differences is price. Clothes in the KinzStyle Shop are much more expensive, and these newest items are no exception.

Now let’s take a look at how these new items actually look on your pet! First up is the Geometric Skirt paired with the Mod Yellow Coat. I really like the way the skirt flares out, and the pattern looks great. The Mod Yellow Coat has several really cool details, but not all of them really show up when the coat is on your pet:
Next up we have the Grey Belted Jumpsuit. I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised by the jumpsuit. It looks so sophisticated when you pair it with the new black high heels available at the KinzStyle Outlet:
Moving on to the Sparkly Green Mini Dress – I think the dress is pretty cute. I only wish you could see more of the leggings when the dress is on your pet. You don’t really get a good look at the stripes:
Now let’s get to the Shiny Slate Suit. I do like how you can see the blue tie:
Last up, the Bold Geometric Jacket. I have to say this piece is my least favorite. It seems to lose all the detail when you put it on your pet:

Wow – lots and lots of new clothes with this latest Webkinz update! I need to tackle all the glamorous new offerings in the KinzStyle Shop But I’ll start with the basics…just like PJ Collie!
What I LOVE about the new clothes in the KinzStyle Outlet is that they mix and match with…well, just about everything!

Hello Webkinz Friends! I wanted to get personal for a minute and share with you one of my great loves – bird watching! Birds bring me so much joy and peace, so I wanted to help create a better future for Georgia’s birds by supporting the Atlanta Audubon Society’s fundraising efforts during Atlanta Bird Fest.
