Adopting a Pink Dalmatian

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote a post about how I wanted to adopt a Pink Dalmatian, December’s Pet of the Month.

Well, I got one for Christmas! Woo hoo!

I made this short video to show you what it looks like when you adopt a Pink Dalmatian. As you can see in the video, I named her Lolli:

Because the Pink Dalmatian is December’s Pet of the Month, Lolli came with a few extra prizes, including six spree rolls!

The Pink Dalmatian’s Pet Specific Item (PSI) is a Sapphire Lamp Post. I got another Sapphire Lamp Post in the Trading Room, so I’ve got a pair of them now, which I think will work better when I use them in a room or garden.

Wish Machine: Super Token

I got my very first super token today! Man, those things are hard to come by! I’ve got more than 40 tokens in one account and just under 40 tokens in another account, so out of that 80 this is the only Super Token – which doesn’t even take into account the hundreds of wish tokens I’ve put into the Wish Machine over the years.

What is a Super Token? It looks just like a regular token, but when you put it into the Wish Machine *pop* magic happens! 🙂 You might get the Token Collector Trophy (I want one sooo bad!), Kinzcash or the token may be worth two or three tokens. My Super Token was worth two tokens.

I was starting to think maybe these things were a myth! LOL! But, no, the Super Token is real, just really hard to get – at least for me, it was.

Pretty Tinsel Crackers Video

Here’s a quick video I made of the 4 or 5 Pretty Tinsel Crackers I opened on my two Webkinz accounts. I wound up with some duplicates (3 camera operator hats and 3 pairs of Webkinz 10 King shoes), but at least the items are tradeable!

You’ll notice in the video that you can get all types of clothing…not just the new holiday and winter themed outfits. For instance, I got the gardenia dress, which has been available in the eStore for several months now.

I have to admit…I think I’m addicted to these tinsel crackers! I opened a few more after I made this video and was sooo excited to see that I got the Year 10 Webkinz Queen dress!

I also got an ornament dress and a hair bow that I put together to make this cute outfit:

Sneak preview of Tinsel Cracker clothing item

UPDATE: The 2015 Pretty Tinsel Cracker is now available in the eStore! I’m going to buy a few, and I’ll post a video of the “unveiling.”

I’ve been wondering when Ganz would release the 2015 Tinsel Crackers as items you can purchase individually. Right now, they can only be bought as part of a bundle, and you have to use money and not eStore points.

Tinsel Crackers (in case you’re not familiar with them) can be purchased at the eStore and then dragged/dropped into your pet’s room to reveal exclusive holiday and winter themed clothing items. Some of these clothing items are *ONLY* available in the Tinsel Crackers.

I still don’t know when the Tinsel Crackers will be sold individually, but Ganz did tweet out a preview of one of the 2015 outfits…and I LOVE it!

Winter fashion at the Ganz eStore

I’ve been playing Webkinz since 2007, but it’s only been in the past few months that I’ve gotten into collecting clothes for my pets. Lately I’ve really enjoyed creating fun ensembles for my pets, especially with dresses and shoes.

Because of some sales and birthday gifts, I wound up with a whole lot of eStore points recently, and I used quite a few of them on exclusive eStore clothing items. Now I’m down to around 8,000 points…but a bunch of fabulous new holiday-themed dresses and outfits have just been released, and I wish I could buy them all!

Quick tip: Sunglasses for outfit change

Has this ever happened to you? You’ve got your pet all dressed up in the perfect outfit, and POP! Your pet asks to wear something different! What should you do? You want to fulfill the request and get 25 points added to your family score, BUT you don’t want to change the fab outfit!

Here’s what I do: Keep a pair of sunglasses in your dock. They’re super quick and easy to pop on and off. You fulfill the request, and you didn’t have to change the outfit!

Sunglasses work well for me because most of the time my pet’s outfit doesn’t include sunglasses.

My webkinz and I will be away for a few days on a fun and fabulous vacation. I won’t have access to my computer, so no new posts until next week. 🙂

Build a “Filling Hearts” Room

I’ve found that the easiest way to fill your pet’s heart is to build yourself a “Filling Hearts” Room.

All you need are these 5 things:

1. Bathtub
2. Sink
3. Trampoline
4. Swimming pool
5. Treadmill

Chances are you probably have at least a couple of these items already, but if you don’t, here is the cheapest way to get the job done:

Bathtub – 775 kinzcash

Sink – 185 kinzcash

Trampoline – 175 kinzcash

Swimming pool -1500 kinzcash

Treadmill – 225 kinzcash

More good news: All of these items will fit in a small room, so that’s just an additional 500 kinzcash.

To save more of that valuable kinzcash, you can choose to leave the walls and floors “bare.” You can skip the decorations, too.

So if my calculations are correct, you can build your own Filling Hearts Room for 3360 kinzcash.
