Webkinz Game: Cash Cow Gets a Makeover

In the latest round of updates, the Cash Cow game got a pretty serious makeover. Not only has the look of the game changed, but they’ve also changed how you win the Cash Cow trophy.

From the very opening screen you can see that Cash Cow has gotten a “facelift,” so to speak. Take a look at the old version of the opening screen:

Now take a look at the new opening screen for Cash Cow:

Once you start playing, you’ll notice more big differences. The color of the milk bottles has been changed. On levels 1 through 3 in “Normal” mode, the bottles are red, yellow and blue. Once you hit Level 4, green bottles are added. When you hit Level 8, orange bottles are added.

Here’s how the game play screen looked in the original Cash Cow:

Now here’s the new game play screen:

If you play the game in “Hard” mode, Level 1 starts off with red, yellow, blue and green. The orange bottles are added in Level 4.

So why are these orange bottles so important? Because orange bottles are now the key to winning a Cash Cow trophy.

In the past, the Cash Cow trophy was awarded randomly. In order to have a chance at winning the trophy, you had to clear a large group of milk bottles (all of the same color). Now, clearing a group of 10 orange bottles means you automatically get the trophy:

If you win the trophy, you’ll see this message when you’re done playing the game:

The trophy itself looks the same as it always has. Here’s a side-by-side comparison of the trophy I won yesterday next to a Cash Cow trophy I won a few years ago:

What do you think of these changes to Cash Cow? I really like the fact that the trophy is no longer random, and you know what to do in order to win one.

What are some of the other differences you’ve noticed between the original Cash Cow and this new, updated version? Let me know in the comments for a prize via Kinzpost!
