Wish Factory Prizes: Letters M and O

I’m back with a look at a few more of the Wish Factory prizes that were added in addition to the Exclusive Items.

It’s been a while since these prizes were added, and since I started cataloging them, so let’s talk a minute about what makes them different. Exclusive Items are items you can get two ways – you are awarded an Exclusive Item each time you adopt a pet, and you can also buy Exclusive Items with Wish Tokens.

These newer prizes are a bit different. First, they require many more tokens to buy. Some of these newer prizes can cost as many as 300 tokens, whereas the Exclusive Items max out at 15 tokens.

Another difference is that these new items were once available to Webkinz players in different ways. For example, these might have been prizes in a Marshmallow Collection Event or maybe a prize you could earn by playing with your Mazin’ Hamster. Ganz added these prizes to the Wish Factory to give everyone a chance to earn these cool items.

So far we’ve gone through Letter G. Now we’ll skip ahead to Letter M (there aren’t new prizes that start with H, I, J, K or L.)

First up is Millie’s Slide:

millies-slide

Millie’s Slide is a purple slide that costs 100 Wish Tokens.

Originally you could earn Millie’s Slide as a prize playing Webkinz Friends. Webkinz Friends, which I’ve mentioned before, was a Facebook game that involved building your own Webkinz town. Webkinz Friends doesn’t exist anymore, but some of the prizes pop up from time to time, such as this slide.

Millie’s Slide is interactive. Here’s a look at my pet playing on Millie’s Slide:

Next up is the Moolah Mountain Window:

moolah-mountain-window

The Moolah Mountain Window was a prize from Mazin’ Hamsters. Moolah Mountain was a place in the Mazin’ Hamsters world where your hamster could roll down the mountain and collect coins to buy prizes. The window is shaped like a hamster and looks out onto Moolah Mountain.

Here’s a look at the Moolah Mountain Window in a pet’s room:

As you can see, I have a few of these collected from the days when Mazin’ Hamsters was still available – almost all of the items in this room are Mazin’ Hamsters prizes:

The Moolah Mountain Window is available in the Wish Factory for 100 tokens.

Last for today is the Oak Tree Gazebo that costs 150 tokens.

Like Millie’s Slide, the Oak Tree Gazebo was also a prize from Webkinz Friends. Your pet can sit on the chair that’s inside the Gazebo:

That’s all for today. Next time we’ll look at Letters R and S!

If you want to earn these prizes faster, one way is to become a Deluxe member. Deluxe members now get to spin the Wheel of Wishes every day! Check out the Ganz eStore for more details on Deluxe memberships.

New Wish Factory Prizes: Letters F and G

I’m back with another look into the different type of prizes (not exclusives!) that Ganz added to the Wish Factory a while back. I’m going in alphabetical order, so in case you missed it, here are the links to my earlier posts:

Letter B

Letter C

Today we’re going to start with Letter F.

letter-f-512

Letter F takes us to the Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed.

Like several of the new prizes in the Wish Factory, the Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed (wow – that’s a mouthful!) was originally a prize from the Mazin’ Hamsters section of Webkinz World. When the Mazin’ Hamsters area was retired, Ganz hinted that some of the prizes would pop back up in Webkinz World, and the Flowing Ribbons Bed is one of them.

I think the Flowing Ribbons Bed is really pretty, and I love the blue and pink color combination. If you ever checked out the Mazin’ Hamster prizes in the past, then you know that this bed is quite a bit different from the other Mazin’ Hamster room items.

Here’s a look at what most of the Mazin’ Hamster items look like:

The Flowing Ribbons Four Post Bed costs a whopping 300 tokens! Wow! I wish I had bought more of those with my Mazin’ coins because these beds are really valuable!

Next up – Letter G.

First is the Garden Mosaic, which is actually the only one of the new prizes I don’t yet have. (It’s what I wish for when one of my pets asks to make a “wish of the day.”)

garden-mosaic

Even though I don’t have the Garden Mosaic, I DO have the Lovely Garden Mosaic, which is the virtually the same item as the Garden Mosaic; it’s just done in different colors:

The Garden Mosaic costs 100 tokens.

Second, we have the Garden Patio Tile:

The Garden Patio Tile was a prize during the 2015 flower collection event. In the picture above you can see some of the other prizes that were awarded during that same event.

One really cool thing about the Garden Patio Tile is that if you collect four of them, you can cover an entire yard and/or floor – here’s a look at what I mean:

The Garden Patio Tile costs 70 tokens, so you’ll have to do quite a bit of saving if you want four of them!

Next up is the Giant Rafflesia Plant for 70 tokens:

The Giant Rafflesia Plant  is only for decoration. It’s not a chair like you might think at first. Originally the Giant Rafflesia Plant was a prize you could earn by playing Webkinz Friends, which was a Facebook game that involved building and growing your own Webkinz town.

Here’s a different view of the Giant Rafflesia Plant:

Last up for the Letter G is the Green Oak Leaf Chair for 60 tokens:

green-oak-leaf-chair

The Green Oak Leaf Chair was a prize that could be won during the 2013 acorn collection event, which is also where the Blue Fall Season Window came from.

The Green Oak Leaf Chair is a green leaf attached to a big acorn:

Just as you would expect from the name, your pet can sit in this item:

That’s all for letter F and G – next time we’ll skip all the way to letters M and O!
